Spring Break is just around the corner and much of the chapter is spending much of the time cramming for midterms that happen to fall around this much needed break. Apart from the perils and challenges of academics here’s what else is going on.
Our Sweetheart Competition and annual fundraiser for Backpacks for Brilliance, a local organization that helps supply needy children with school supplies, is coming up on Friday April 20.
The grill-out is open to the public, $5 recommended donation for food and all profit goes to the Backpacks for Brilliance program.
The Housing Corp. has been hard at work raising money in our goal to buy the 2600 real estate back from the University of North Dakota Alumni Foundation who currently owns it. We are roughly 10% of the way there and every little bit counts. If you wish to know more details about the situation or wish to donate (or BOTH!) please use the contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or the contact form here and we will make sure all of your questions are answered to the best of our ability.
Spring Alumni Event:
Spring Alumni involvement is something our chapter has always struggled with and this year we are going to combat this challenge head on. We are planning on holding an Alumni and Family Pig Roast on Friday May 11 (the day before spring commencement). This is a way where we can all get together in brotherhood, enjoy the spring weather, have a delicious meal and celebrate the graduation of our seniors as well as the culmination of another year of school. This event is still in the planning stages and any help is appreciated.
